Our latest sign-up, CLEO B, is a brilliant shoe designer who’s just launched her debut collection.  Trained at the Salvatore Ferragamo Design Studio in Florence, Cleo is making waves in the world of footwear: she has appeared in The Sunday Times and Vogue and also exhibited her collection during London Fashion Week.

 

Interviewed recently by infamous shoe blogger Cheryl “Fa’shoe’nista” Lynn, she describes how work experience is the most important and useful thing an aspiring designer can do…

Cleo Barbour: “Get as much work experience as possible and build their knowledge, confidence and contacts. I would recommend you do work experience in all aspects of the industry too, so that you understand the whole process and business side of things.”
